If the person you are considering hiring is going to work with children or the elderly or needs to have a high security clearance to deal with classified information you will need to search through a federal data base to get your information. Also know that if you require a full report on someone and want it sent to you it may cost as much as one dollar a page to get. Just for kicks, try doing a crimal background check on yourself just to see what comes up. You might just be surprised to find some incorrect information on you floating around out there.
