Stop Being On The Wrong Side Of The Window
(Quiz yourself - true or false?)
#12: The People Who Get In First Make All The Money
This is the MAIN reason you see new money making sites pop up each and every month, a business plan based on who gets in first is destined to fail and THEN restart because their market drys up and the money stops coming in. You can usually recognize these sites with all the exclaimation marks!!! Every sentence is the greatest ever!!! This is the best!!! You gotta try this!!! Ugh, stop screaming at everyone please. You see it every day, "this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!" -- "lock in your founder position now!" -- "get in before the masses!" -- "be first to act now!" and the all time most over used one is "one time offer!" -- to be honest it's ALL crap. Do you know what cycling is? And no, I don't mean a money cycler; I mean a MEMBER cycler. What people have infused in their heads (because these programs don't work for everyone) is that the people who get in first make all the money which is 100% TRUE (by definition only with this business model.) What you and these people don't realize is that they are swapping money back and forth between each other soley based on who gets in first. For example:
Let's say there are 1000 people who consistantly partake in these 'get in first schemes' so they are always looking for founder positions, new next big thing, just launched, etc. All these sites advertise on the same hot spots so when a new site pops up their target members 'the 1000' people are right there waiting for it. By the time they have all joined the last one the guys at the top made money from the 750 below them, the 750 made money from 500, the 500 made money from the 250 and the 250 are left with nothing. Once the money stops coming in ALL 1000 people are now looking for another 'get in first' program and guess what -- low and behold one just launched! That same system will now repeat itself because the guys at the top will put out their referral links to everyone who signed up under them previously, those people WILL sign up to the new program because they made money the last time those top guys gave them a link, and so on down the chain. This time though some of those slower people signed up faster than the middle of the pack and the previous middle of the pack guys will now come in last. This is how that business model works and when someone is caught at the bottom on a couple of occasions they will quit; the guys at the top can usually wrangle up the most fresh faces because they have more advertising funds than everyone else, the guys in the middle also have some additional advertising funds but the guys at the bottom are always paying out of pocket. So if you are into these types of programs make sure to always check the launch date, research who the admin is and if the domain is set to 'private' (hiding whois data) be very weary. Don't risk money you aren't willing to throw away because even with a 'brand new launch' the admin could have a ton of people already signed up just waiting for new suckers to arrive, always read the earnings disclaimer 'they need to post' because it will usually tell you that no matter what, you aren't going to receive a dime of anything earned. And even the brand new sites that say they will be around while all the others fade away it just won't happen -- when they all use the same unsustainable business plan they are all destined for the same fate.
did you miss this one? Just check your ads.
Read 'em and weep.
Don't ignore the truth behind these myths.
Now the real kicker to watch out for is 'do you get paid directly or not', if not there is a HIGH chance the admin will peace out with your money because there is usually a reason you don't pay each other directly... Don't get me wrong there ARE lots of good admins who run these programs so I'm not pointing any fingers or bashing. A good admin is the guy who launches the program, pays everyone he is supposed to, makes a few dollars for himself and then opens a new site when he sees that his client pool has dried up.
And some food for thought, if you know a good admin who runs these types of programs on a regular basis, slip him $20 bucks and tell him to tell you the instant he reveals his next project because as you know whomever gets in first makes all the money :- )
